Hand-rolled bagels, smoked salmon boards, fresh fruit, pastries, and the kind of mimosa bar setup people take photos of before they touch the food. Brunch catering for baby showers, engagement parties, bridal showers, and lazy Sunday gatherings across Brooklyn.

Smoked salmon, capers, fresh fruit, a stack of pastries, somebody's pouring mimosas in the corner. That's our whole world at Bagel Point. We've been doing it at 699 Manhattan Ave since 1999, and we cater brunches across Brooklyn and into Manhattan pretty much every weekend. Most of our brunch jobs are weekend events. Baby showers. Engagement parties. Bridal showers. Birthday brunches. The occasional Sunday family thing where someone wants the whole spread without spending Saturday at six different shops. Take a look at all our catering options if you're not sure brunch is the right fit. But honestly? For showers and weekend parties, brunch is almost always the move.
Most brunch jobs we cater are weekend showers and parties. Here's what those usually look like and what guests rave about afterward.
Pastel everything. Florals. A bagel and lox board as the centerpiece, surrounded by fruit, mini pastries, and a small mimosa bar (someone's pregnant, mocktails happen too). Most baby showers we cater run 20 to 35 guests. The Classic Spread plus the Sweet Add-On plus a Lox Board hits perfectly.
These are usually the most photo-heavy events we do. Couples want it to look amazing on Instagram before anyone takes a bite. Big mimosa bar with garnishes lined up like a candy store. Lox board front and center. Sweet and savory split right down the middle.
Bridal showers are where we go all out. The Premium Lox Board, full Classic Spread, Sweet Add-On, Hot Brunch, mimosa bar with three juice options. We've done these in Park Slope brownstones, Greenpoint backyards, and Williamsburg lofts. Comfortable feeding 25 to 50 guests with room to graze.
Brunch isn't one-size-fits-all. A baby shower for 20 looks different than a bridal shower for 50. Mix and match. Pick a base, add what you want, skip what you don't.
Hand-rolled bagels (plain, everything, sesame, poppy, salt), 3 house-made cream cheeses, butter and jams, seasonal fruit bowl, plus coffee and orange juice service. Solid, simple, looks great on a small table.

Hosting a shower or brunch is enough work as it is. Our job is to make the food part disappear so you can focus on the people in your house. Here's what happens once you book.

Call Us: +1 (718) 383-1600Four things we promise on every brunch we cater. We've been doing this since 1999, so we don't mess these up.
Every bagel made fresh the day of your event. We don't ship in frozen anything.
30-minute window confirmed the night before. We hit it. If something goes sideways, you hear from us first.
We don't do farm-raised mystery salmon. Our nova is wild-caught and sliced fresh. You'll taste it.
Tongs, spreaders, napkins, lids, the things people forget. We bring it all so you're not running to the bodega.
There's a reason people drive in from Park Slope and Williamsburg to grab bagels at our Greenpoint shop on a Saturday. The bagels are real. Hand-rolled. Boiled. Baked. Same way Brooklyn shops have done it for a hundred years. We didn't change that just because we started catering.
Brunch is where bagels shine and where most caterers get it wrong. They cut corners on the lox. They use cheap cream cheese. We don't do any of that. Our smoked salmon is wild-caught. Our cream cheeses are made in-house, with over 20 flavors that people lose their minds over. The fruit gets cut the morning of.
And if you're hosting a shower or engagement party, the presentation matters as much as the food. We get that. The lox board comes out looking like a centerpiece. The bagels are arranged, not dumped. The mimosa bar setup is photo-ready before anyone shows up. Want bagels for breakfast meetings instead? See breakfast catering for our weekday packages.
Book Your BrunchGetting Brooklyn's best brunch spread to your event shouldn't be complicated. Here's how it works.
Date, headcount, and event type. Bridal shower? Sunday brunch? Birthday? Each one shapes what we suggest.
Start with a base package, add a lox board, throw in the mimosa bar setup. We'll help you build it over the phone or by email.
The night before your event, we lock in a 30-minute delivery or pickup window. You'll know exactly when we're showing up.
Pop the bottles. Set the platters on the table. Everything arrives ready to display. Your job is to enjoy it.
4.7 stars across 850+ Google reviews. Here's what folks say about our brunch jobs specifically.
"Hosted my best friend's baby shower and used Bagel Point. The lox board was unreal. People kept asking who catered. The mimosa bar setup made it look way fancier than it was. Will absolutely book again."
"Got the brunch spread for our engagement party and it was the move. Hand-rolled bagels actually taste different. Guests devoured everything. Showed up exactly when they said they would. No drama."
"We had a bridal shower for about 35 people. The Classic Spread plus the Sweet Add-On plus the lox board. Everyone was fed and the table looked stunning. The team gave me tips on how to lay it all out. Tiny detail but it mattered."
"Booked them for a Sunday family brunch. Lox was top notch. Coffee setup was great. We ran through the bagels faster than expected so I'd order more next time. Honest tip from them when I called would've helped, but the food itself was excellent."
Everything Brooklyn brunch hosts ask us before booking. If your question isn't here, just call.
Most brunch caterings land somewhere between $18 and $35 per person, depending on what you build. The Classic Spread is the most affordable. Adding a lox board and a mimosa bar setup pushes it up. We give you the exact total before you commit. No mystery charges.
Two to three weeks ahead is the sweet spot for weekend events. Baby showers and bridal showers in spring and summer fill our calendar fast. We can sometimes pull off same-week brunches for smaller groups, but don't count on it for a Saturday in May. Call us early.
Yes. We can't sell or pour the alcohol, so you bring the prosecco or champagne. We bring everything else. Fresh-squeezed juices, garnish boards with berries and citrus, ice buckets, carafes, and a layout we know works. Most of our shower clients add this on. It's worth it.
Yes on both. We've got gluten-free bagel options and vegan cream cheese spreads. Vegan platters can include fruit, hummus, veggie wraps, and dairy-free pastries. Just tell us how many guests need what, and we'll make sure nobody's left out. We do this every weekend.
Our minimum is 10 guests for most brunch packages. Below that, we'd suggest grabbing a few platters from the shop directly instead. The full delivery and setup makes more sense at 15 or 20 people and up. Want to talk through your number? Just call.
Yes. We deliver across all of Brooklyn (Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Bed-Stuy, DUMBO, the works) and into Manhattan and Long Island City. Delivery fee depends on distance. We confirm the window the night before so you're not waiting around the next morning.
Wild-caught nova, sliced the morning of your event. We don't use farm-raised stuff. The whitefish and sable are smoked locally and arrive at our shop a few days a week. If you want a specific fish on the board, ask when you call. We'll let you know what's freshest.
Each platter comes with the bagels, the spread, garnishes, and serving utensils. Plates, napkins, and cups can be added if you want. The lox board includes capers, red onion, tomato, dill, and lemon. Coffee service comes with cups, lids, sugar, and milk. Basically, you don't have to run out for anything.
We deliver brunch catering across all of Brooklyn and into Manhattan, Queens, and Long Island City. Most of our weekend orders go to brownstones, lofts, and event spaces in Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Park Slope, and DUMBO. But we'll come pretty much anywhere in the five boroughs if the order makes sense.
Want a more local angle? We do dedicated bagel catering in Greenpoint too. Or for company breakfasts in the same neighborhood, see Greenpoint breakfast catering.
