Bagels for Your Park Slope Crowd
Planning a brunch, a school meeting or an office morning? Our Park Slope catering starts in Greenpoint at 699 Manhattan Ave, where every bagel gets rolled by hand and baked fresh that morning. You pick the bagels, the spreads and the extras. We pack it all up so it travels well.
Most folks start with bagels and cream cheese and build out from there. You can add lox, egg sandwiches, French toast or a full lunch spread. Check our full catering menu to see everything, or browse bagel and lox platters if smoked salmon is the star of your table.

Bagel and Lox Platters for Catering Park Slope Events
A bagel platter is a dozen or more bagels with cream cheese on the side. You choose the mix. Plain, sesame, everything, cinnamon raisin and Cragels are all on the table. Here's a tip. Lean heavy on everything and plain, because those vanish first at almost any gathering, and toss in a few cinnamon raisin for the sweet tooth crowd. Cragels are our wild card. People who've never tried one usually come back for a second.
Then there's the cream cheese. We make 16 flavors in house, including scallion, plain tofu and jalapeno cheddar. The tofu spread matters more than you'd think. If anyone at your event skips dairy, that one tub saves them from eating a dry bagel while everybody else digs in. Scallion is the safe crowd pleaser. Jalapeno cheddar is for the folks who like a little kick before noon.
Lox platters come with hand sliced smoked salmon and all the fixings. Hand slicing is slower than a machine, sure. But the slices come out thin and tender instead of torn up and stringy, and that's the whole point of lox. So if you're hosting a bris, a baby shower or a Sunday family brunch near Prospect Park, the lox platter is usually the centerpiece people remember.

Breakfast and Lunch Spreads Beyond Bagels
Mornings run longer than one bagel. Our breakfast platters use organic egg sandwiches, and they hold up better on a buffet than you'd expect. We also do French toast platters and fresh pastries. Picture a team meeting at 8am where half the room skipped breakfast. Egg sandwiches fill people up. Pastries keep the meeting moving. More ideas live on our breakfast catering page.
Lunch is a different animal. You can order chicken or lox sandwiches, paninis, pizza bagels, salads and a build your own cold cut setup. The cold cut spread is great when you've got picky eaters or a bunch of dietary needs, since everyone builds their own plate. Pizza bagels? Kids lose their minds over them. Adults too, honestly.
Don't forget drinks. Our coffee is Counter Culture, packed as a Box of Joe so it pours straight into cups without anyone babysitting a machine. We've got fresh juice too. A box of coffee next to a bagel platter turns a plain table into an actual breakfast, and it's the one thing hosts forget most often.

How Ordering Works from Greenpoint to Park Slope
Every catering order goes in online. Big orders need at least 24 hours notice, because we roll and bake for them that morning and want enough hands on the dough. Smaller orders can often be done the same day. So if you're throwing together a last minute thing, it's worth placing the order and seeing what we can do.
Pickup is the easiest way to go. Our shop at 699 Manhattan Ave is a short walk from McCarren Park and Williamsburg, and the platters are packed and ready when you show up. Delivery depends on where your event is and how big the order is. Park Slope is on our list, but the details get worked out per order. Just order online or call +1 (718) 383-1600 and we'll sort it out together.
One thing to know up front. All catering orders include a 20% gratuity. That way the folks who rolled your bagels at dawn and packed every tub of cream cheese get taken care of. Budget for it from the start and there's nothing to think about when the food arrives.

Figuring Out How Much Food You Need
The rule we like is 1.5 bagels per person. That covers the folks who eat two and the ones who nibble half. If you're slicing bagels in half and putting out other food too, like egg sandwiches or salads, you can drop to about one bagel per person. So thirty guests with just bagels means roughly 45. Thirty guests with a full spread means around 30.
Cream cheese is easy to underorder. Mix at least three flavors so nobody's stuck staring at plain. Add one dairy free option if you're not sure who's coming. And if lox is on the menu, assume it'll be popular. People who swore they'd only have a plain bagel always end up sneaking a slice of salmon onto it.
Need sandwiches too? Our sandwich platters pair well with a bagel order for longer events that roll from morning into lunch. Think about timing. A 10am event wants bagels and coffee. A noon event wants sandwiches and salads. An event that runs both? Grab a bit of each and you're set.
